I am currently a junior majoring in Finance, and my concentration is Risk Management. I have completed 93 credit hours in this University and my GPA is 3.85. I used to be a member of Informs student Chapter to help students in Operations Management and Statistical Data Analysis. I am now in a Insurance Society.

While attending this school, I am attracted by the scenic study environment and strong academic atmosphere here. I choose Risk Management as my future career this semester. When I was a freshman, I started with general business, and then I thought I was interested in Finance. However, after reading a variety of books about Finance, I have found what I actually interested in – Risk Management.

I like collecting statistical data to speculate whether we will gain or loss in our lives, and to control the loss. When I read the book about Risk Management, It said that “Risk management is the process that identifies loss exposures faced by an individual or organization and selects the most appropriate techniques for treating such exposures.” Finally, I found what I absolutely want to learn at that time.
